Role Description This role will primarily assist military families during their PCS/relocation. - Some day shifts are available; candidates should be open to working nights and weekends. - Schedule is based in EST, but candidates can work from anywhere in the Lower 48/CONUS. - Night shifts typically will be from 3p-11p EST, with weekend coverage options including all shifts. - Candidates can pick their schedules from options provided by the client. - PT and FT options are available. - This is a 1099/independent contractor role. - Pay rate starts at $15 per hour. - The role is fully virtual. - Anticipated hours are 30-40 per week, with some flexibility. - Hours may increase during peak PCS season, such as summer. - Contractors can make their own schedule within a set range provided by the client. - Open to CONUS based candidates only. - Employer will consider applicants for both the Relocation Guide and the 3D Estimator role. - This is a customer-focused role; customer service and communication skills are essential. Responsibilities: Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: - Design and implement lighting characters and environments for shots that meet and enhance the given art direction. - Maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work. - Work with the FX department to integrate and develop FX. - Work closely with VFX supervisors, Art Directors, Producers, Lighting/Compositing Supervisor and Leads to achieve the final look. - Accountable for achieving productivity and quota targets. - Responsible for completing and quality control of all lighting and compositing of shots. Minimum Requirements Experience - A minimum of 12 years of experience in the game, TV, feature film, or commercial production environment. - Experience working with Directors, Lighting Supervisors and/or Leads to develop, define and maintain lighting and compositing setups. - A demo reel showcasing a refined artistic understanding of light, composition, and mood. Knowledge & Skills - Well versed in Katana, Nuke, Maya, Linux, Renderman-RIS, Redshift and a decent understanding of modern game engines.
