• Translate content from English into Japanese with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience. • Follow instructions, for example Translation process, CAT tool usage, etc. • Communicate effectively and response promptly in English.

• Use LexisNexis Affinity practice management system (training provided) • Set up new client files and matter files accurately • Prepare, amend, and format correspondence and documents as directed • Prepare documents for electronic signing using Annature (similar to Docusign) • Assist with invoicing • Maintain and organize electronic filing systems • Conduct title searches and property-related searches using Infotrack and other platforms • Input and maintain accurate data in conveyancing files • Prepare correspondence and forms as directed for conveyancing matters using standard precedents • Assist with setting up Verification of Identity (VOI) requests using Infotrack

• Contract law (IT & AI): drafting, reviewing and negotiating national and international IT contracts (e.g., SaaS, cloud, licensing and development agreements, EVB-IT, service and partnership agreements) • Legal support for projects using Artificial Intelligence (e.g., LLMs, training data, prompt design, liability) • Development and legal assessment of AI policies, terms of use and internal governance • Support with regulatory developments in the context of the EU AI Act, Data Act, DSA, DMA • Data protection & compliance: advising on GDPR, BDSG, TTDSG and international data protection law • Drafting and reviewing data processing agreements (DPAs), joint controller agreements and consent processes • Conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), risk analyses and transfer impact assessments (TIAs) • Developing and implementing data protection policies; training employees • Support in data breaches, incident response and cooperation with supervisory authorities • Establishing and maintaining records of processing activities and internal compliance structures (e.g., using legal tech)
