Sales Engineer
Vantiva
• Engage customers to understand their business and technical needs to translate them into technical and commercial proposals. • Manage the elaboration of profitable proposals and supports sales team in winning new business. • Collaborate with Product Management to identify best product or solution set to address customer problems • Support customers in evaluating products and solutions in their labs • Identify unique customer requirements and document customer requirements • Develop end to end solutions to meet customer requirements • Map Requirements to Product & New Specifications • Influence customer solution & architecture • Align & share internally with the Product Units, Sales the customer architecture • Validate Product feasibility with Product Management • Demo new products, new technology including partners’ solutions • Identify competitive products & position our products vs. competition • Track Bid Schedules for Customers & ensure quality response • Conduct customer Presentations & Demos • Participate in the defense phase of RFXs • Assist in Lab product evaluation • Develop relationships and influence technical stakeholders responsible for Lab assessment and product evaluation • Identify technical roadblocks to the Sales Process & collaborate with the Product Units to address identified issues • Assist in developing a Go To Market plan for new product offers
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience supporting broadband service providers in a technical / pre-sales capacity
- Knowledge of & experience with Fiber (GPON, XGS-PON), FWA (5G), DOCSIS (D3.1+, D4.0) & Wi-Fi are recommended
- Able to articulate complex technical topics clearly
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Background working with and selling CPE to Service Providers
- Experience working in distributed organizations spanning Product Management, R&D, Support, Program Management
- Comfortable in a Lab setting working with testing equipment, interpreting test results, capturing log, etc.

• Join discovery and technical deep-dive calls to lead architecture and governance discussions with the customers’ technical stakeholders. • Validate integration feasibility, deployment models, and security positioning before advancing deals. • Support security and compliance conversations, including participation in customer security reviews and questionnaires. • Identify technical risks early in the sales cycle and prevent overcommitment or scope misalignment. • Assist with technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and enterprise documentation requests. • Build and continuously update customer-facing enablement materials such as, but not limited to, architecture diagrams and data flow documentation. • Develop and maintain a structured technical objection library aligned with governance and cybersecurity concerns. • Standardize the technical validation process across the sales organization. • Deliver recurring internal technical enablement sessions and coach BotCity's internal teams. • Define and maintain clear escalation guidelines for complex technical scenarios. • Provide structured field feedback to Product and Engineering based on recurring technical blockers. • Improve post-sale handoff quality by ensuring accurate technical alignment prior to close.
