Title: Software Developer Department: Development Location: Augusta, GA Job Description: Work Location & Schedule This is a hybrid position based in our Augusta, GA office. Team members are expected to work on-site two days per week and remotely three days per week. This schedule supports collaboration while offering flexibility and work-life balance, although this position can be fully remote for the right candidate outside of the CSRA area. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in .NET 8 API development, microservices architecture, and React. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and build scalable, high-performance applications that power our core business systems. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative, agile team focused on delivering solutions that drive real business impact. What You’ll Be Doing - Design, build, and maintain efficient, well-documented code aligned with best practices and industry standards. - Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into sound technical solutions. - Collaborate closely with UX designers and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed systems. - Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the team. Must-Have Skills & Experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Proficient in C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development. - Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational database design. - Experience with Redis for caching and session management. - Experience building modern React applications using TypeScript, CSS, and HTML. - Solid understanding of unit, integration, and E2E testing practices. - Experience with Git and version control workflows. - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Preferred Qualifications - Background in financial services or tax software. - Hands-on experience with Azure services (Key Vault, Container Registry, Storage). - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
