Your Role: As the Quality Coach you are responsible for providing individualized and group-based professional development to Family Child Care Home (FCCH) providers and educators. Coaches deliver technical assistance, facilitate Communities of Practice, and support providers in implementing evidence-based practices aligned with North Carolina’s QRIS and Shine’s Practice-Based Coaching model. What You’ll Do: - Facilitate Communities of Practice on priority topics (curriculum, business practices, SEL, etc.). - Maintain a caseload of FCCH programs and deliver one-on-one coaching upon request. - Support providers in developing and meeting SMART goals. - Provide onsite, in-person support along with virtual sessions for programs. - Document Technical Assistance delivery and report outcomes. - Refer programs to specialized partner support and resources, such as those available through state licensing, child care resource & referral agencies, All Our Kin, National Association for Family Child Care, and National Parent Leadership Institute - Participate in assigned meetings, events and training as required What You Bring: - Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required. - 5+ years of early childhood experience, including work with FCCH educators. - Experience in coaching, mentoring, or professional development. - NC-approved Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) certification or equivalent strongly preferred. - Physical exam and background checks are required for this position. - Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions. - Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation When/Where/How Much: When: Spring 2026 Where: North Carolina - remote with 10% travel How Much: This position pays up to $65,000 annually. What You Bring Education/Experience: - High School Diploma/GED required. - Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree. - Requires five (5) years professional business experience working in a health care environment. - Prefer five (5) years managed care experience. Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for special process audit improvements within the supply chain to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. - Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement projects and initiatives, leveraging tools such as Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. - Analyze quality data, trends, and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to drive continuous quality improvement. - Provide training and support to suppliers on special process qualifications and approval, including internal AR methods process specifications, and or industry standards. 4.
