Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for design critics, visual culture professionals, and creative experts with strong backgrounds in visual analysis, design critique, and aesthetic reasoning. This role supports work focused on evaluating, critiquing, and shaping how advanced AI systems interpret and analyse visual design across mediums. Selected professionals will help craft and review experimental design workflows, assess visual reasoning, provide critical feedback on aesthetic interpretation, and contribute to improving how AI systems understand design, composition, and visual judgment. Key Responsibilities - Design Critique & Visual Analysis - Evaluate and critique how AI systems interpret and analyse visual design across mediums. - Assess aesthetics, composition, visual reasoning, and design quality in structured project workflows. - Provide critical feedback on visual outputs, design decisions, and creative interpretation. - Workflow Review & Development - Craft, critique, and review experimental design workflows with frontier AI models. - Help shape repeatable and high-quality evaluation processes for visual and design-oriented tasks. - Work asynchronously with a team of designers across disciplines. - Creative Review & Communication - Apply strong written and verbal communication skills to reviews, critiques, and commentary. - Contribute insights grounded in design criticism, theory, visual culture, or related practice. - Support projects requiring clear articulation of aesthetic judgment and visual analysis.
