• Review and evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, studies, and calculations prepared by EPC contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors. • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and owner-specific requirements (e.g., IEEE, NESC, utility standards). • Provide technical guidance on substation physical, transmission line, Civil & Structural, distribution, and protection & control designs. • Occasional Site-visits to client substation facilities may be required, along with occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events. • Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and value‑engineering discussions. • Support project managers by translating technical issues into actionable decisions. • Review vendor submittals, equipment data sheets, FAT/SAT results, and test reports. • Support the development and enforcement of engineering standards and best practices. • Provide technical support during construction, including RFI responses, field issue resolution, and design clarifications. • Evaluate technical risks and provide recommendations to mitigate impacts on cost, schedule, and system reliability. • Track engineering deliverables and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

In this role, you will work closely with external manufacturing partners and design teams and contribute to the Quality Engineering workstream to reduce overall manufacturing defects and warranty costs while increasing reliability. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems design will be instrumental in developing reliable, efficient, and innovative solutions which bring change transformation in our systems.   What we do The External Manufacturing team sits within the Quality organization and partners cross-functionally with internal teams and vendor manufacturers to ensure Symbotic’s automated solutions meet and exceed quality, functional, and reliability standards by designing and implementing manufacturing strategies, quality systems, and standards that enable scalability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness as the company grows. In close collaboration with Project Management, Quality Engineering, and external manufacturing partners, the team ensures quality is embedded throughout every phase—from supplier components and manufacturing processes through installation and field deployment—delivering consistent, high-performing systems for our customers. What you’ll do - Define and implement advanced manufacturing strategies for robotics and automation systems that improve scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. - Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and lead the seamless transfer of new products into production. - Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis and manufacturing readiness reviews for all new product introductions. - Oversee management of tooling and capital investments to support growth. - Perform analysis, including FEA and tolerance analysis, to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.    - Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, controls, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and product success.   - Identify and troubleshoot design challenges, implement effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement.    - Clearly communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Contribute to a collaborative team environment and a culture of learning.    - Up to 25% of travel may be required. What you’ll need - Bachelor's degree Engineering or equivalent industry experience. - Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.  - Strong foundation in mechanical/electrical design principles and hands-on experience.    - Demonstrated ability to select and integrate components such as motors, sensors, and actuators.  - Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, electrical, casting, sheet metal, plastics).    - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  - Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.  - Passion for robotics, automation, and innovation.  - Experience in industrial robotics, automation, or material handling (preferred).  - Knowledge of PLM systems (preferred).  - Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) (preferred). The base range for this position in the posted location is $101,000.00 - $138,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. • Lead the end-to-end solution design process and implementation of AEP and CJA using Adobe Data Collection (Tags), Experience Data Model (XDM), and source connectors for both Web and mobile applications. • Conduct audits and assessments of existing Adobe Data Collection (Tags), AEP and CJA implementations, providing best practice recommendations. • Collaborate with Data Architects to integrate other data sets within AEP and CJA. • Simplify complex technical concepts and educate team members and clients in a clear, approachable way. • Create AEP Schemas and datasets • Setup and configure Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) connections, data views, components, derived fields and Workspaces. • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and mentor junior engineers in best practices around requirements gathering, solution design, AEP XDM schema design and Adobe Web/Mobile SDK implementation. • Stay current on the latest Adobe Experience Platform features and data engineering trends to inform client strategies.

• You will manage energy yield calculation studies and performance assessment. • You will review overall project design, technology, and suggest potential improvements. • You will review and advice on key construction contracts for and alongside clients. • You will support project sponsor(s) and lender(s) throughout the financial close process, or during development or construction. • You will assess technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to reduce risk on project CAPEX, OPEX and revenues. • You will follow up project construction and acceptance (PAC, IAC, FAC). • You will be the primary point of contact towards the customer. • You will take ownership on your own projects which you will deliver from A to Z.
