Project Manager

Rowan Digital Infrastructure

• Manage day-to-day coordination and execution of data center development and construction projects • Provide mentorship and day-to-day oversight for an Associate Project Manager or Senior Associate Project Manager, supporting their professional growth, development of project management skills, and increasing responsibility across project coordination and delivery activities • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to advance project scope, schedule, and budget objectives • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and action item logs • Track project milestones, deliverables, and key dependencies; proactively identify and resolve risks and issues • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders • Lead coordination meetings, establish agendas, and track follow-up actions across project teams • Support procurement activities including contract administration, change order review, and invoice tracking • Maintain project documentation and ensure drawings, specifications, and project records are current and organized • Help ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements across project activities • Support site activities as needed, including periodic travel to active project sites • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and reporting standards

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–10 years of experience managing or supporting projects in construction, infrastructure, real estate development, or a related industry
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget across multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management and document control software is a plus (Procore, P6)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial construction projects is a plus

Role Description The Global Repository of Income Dynamics (GRID) Project is hiring a full-time project manager to start in Spring 2026, working under the direction of Fatih Guvenen, Luigi Pistaferri, and Gianluca Violante. The aim of the GRID Project is to assemble an open-access international database that provides a large collection of micro statistics on income inequality and income dynamics at the individual level. All statistics in the database are computed from administrative records on earnings histories for each country and harmonized to ensure cross-country comparability. Currently, the Project includes 20+ countries, with further expansions planned over the coming years. Country-specific studies from the first phase of the GRID project have been published in a special issue of Quantitative Economics. GRID data are being used by students, journalists, policy makers, and researchers studying distributional outcomes, inequality trends, economic mobility, and public policy. The position involves a broad range of tasks that provide strong preparation for graduate school or research-oriented industry positions, including: - Data analysis - Development of statistical tools - Creation of presentations - Editing of research papers - Drafting of briefings - Potentially co-authoring research with the project directors The program is an ideal bridge between college and graduate school for students interested in applied economics.
