As a Manager on the Implementation Engineering team, you will develop cutting-edge API-based solutions that put analytics at the heart of decision-making. You will work closely with other members of the Strategic Analytics team on high-profile analytics projects that drive business strategies. As a key member of the Implementation Engineering team, you will extend our capacity to deliver and push the team forward. Job Responsibilities - Lead Orchestration of real-time and batch predictive analytic solutions leveraging Azure Serverless, Databricks, Boomi iPaaS (APIM Only), and other tools - 70% management (team leadership, delivery ownership, stakeholder coordination, change/CMR processes) and 30% technical (hands-on solutioning, architecture, and coding) - Own change management processes, including full CMR (Change Management Request) lifecycle management from initiation through deployment and support - Manage the development and deployment lifecycle of real time and batch analytics services - Drive use of API-first development to expose orchestrations to internal and external consumers - Use Python, SQL, and Snowflake to understand underlying data and processes, suggest improvements for performance and best practices, and monitor and resolve tech debt as appropriate - Champion AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery timelines and standardize code quality across the engineering organization. - Lead collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders including engagement leads, project managers, and developers - Provide production support for deployed components for both internal and external consumers - Manage code development and deployment using VS Code, GitHub (Actions), and jFrog for the full SDLC - Contribute to and promote evolving best practices and compliance with all Arch architecture and security standards - Document and manage technical workflows and implementation architecture and processes Required Skills/Experience - 2+ years of leading implementation engineering projects - 4+ years of Python development experience - 4+ years of API development experience Desired Skills/Experience - 2+ years of experience in an insurance environment - Demonstrated experience with Azure Function Apps, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Event Hubs - Exposure to middleware and iPaaS tools (e.g., Boomi) to support cross-functional data connectivity and system integration. - Practical understanding of modern MLOps lifecycles (e.g., Databricks Unity Catalog and DLT) and event-driven architecture - Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills - Comfortable handling ambiguous concepts and breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces - Resilient problem solving and critical thinking skills - Ability to communicate effectively with different target audiences - Flexibility – able to meet changing requirements and priorities Education - College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent #LI-Remote #LH1 For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided.
