This new position will work with current team members on various activities impacting the CG&A organization to better respond to incoming data and report requests. This will include develop & updating of executive meeting materials, document existing processes and workflows, improving automation and collaborating with our business partners & stakeholders on the various operational and regulatory project deliverables the team is responsible for. This role provides an opportunity for the applicant to evolve into a reporting subject matter expert on the CG&A process across the multiple lines of business within Aetna/CVS Health. Responsibilities for this role will include: - Perform intake, triage, tracking, and fulfillment of incoming data & project requests. - Reach out to requestors to further define, document and finalize requirements. - Help execute standardized decision analysis reporting (YOY/MOM, QOQ) trend views. - Support team members w activities around development of GCP data repository (i.e. BigQuery) - Support team members w development of new semantic reporting environment. - Identify automation opportunities for various technologies & tools (Python, GCP, Alteryx, Dataiku) - Monitor data quality and collaborate with Sr. Management on data trend changes - Perform deep dive analysis to help identify potential drivers of higher incoming case volumes. - Evaluate resolved case data to identify opportunities to improve the decision-making process. - Deliver actionable insights & recommendations to Executive Leadership to enable better decision-making and strategic planning. Required Qualifications - Proficient with MS Office documentation, data analysis, & presentation applications. - 5+ years of experience with relational databases and data transformation. - 3+ years of experience with data processing/analytics. - 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries (i.e. BigQuery, - Coginiti, SQLServer, DB2) - 3+ years’ experience with data visualization and report generation & scheduling tools such as: Tableau OR SAP Business Obects (LaunchPad, WEBI, Business Views/Crystal Reports) OR Microsoft Power BI OR GCP (BigQuery, Looker) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years’ experience with Cloud / Big Data data storage technologies (GCP/AWS). - 1+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. - Experience in any of the following functional areas (call, claims, utilization management, grievances, appeals) would be ideal. - 1+ years of experience with automation technologies (Python, Alteryx, Dataiku). - 1+ years’ experience of data universe building or database admin development. - Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues. - Comfortable with SharePoint and QuickBase (i.e. project tracking and collaboration tools). - Experience in process improvement or automating end-to-end processes. - Familiar with Agile project management release methodology & terminology. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred OR Technical certifications for the technologies listed in the job description. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $54,300.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between raw clinical documentation and high-quality structured datasets, specifically supporting studies in neurology (ICH and Seizures). Key Responsibilities - Clinical Data Abstraction: Perform deep-dive reviews of clinical notes for cohorts of up to 150 patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) and 150 patients with new-onset seizures. - Targeted Data Extraction: Assess and extract up to 18 specific data elements (5–9 per outcome) across patient groups as defined by client protocols. - Dataset Management: Accurately enter abstraction findings into patient-specific datasets and ensure timely delivery of high-quality data to the client.
