Digital Technology supports a portfolio of Engineering and Operations tools, as well as other software and engineering capabilities. Users of the portfolio are located across the United States, in both Classified and Unclassified environments. This role will be a key team member of the Digital Technology organization responsible for supporting the Electrical Engineering teams innovating Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs and Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) designs. This role will require coordination with not only our internal customers and stakeholders, but additionally with software and foundry partners. What You Will Do: - Install, configure, and support foundry Process Design Kits (PDKs). - Support and maintain CAD tools for IC design, including Virtuoso, physical verification tools, extraction tools, and SPICE simulators. - Collaborate with CAD tool vendors to resolve bugs, enhance tool usability, and evaluate new tools and features. - Administer Linux systems and manage Keysight (Cliosoft) SOS Design Data Management. - Develop, deploy, and maintain scripts using Perl and Cadence SKILL. Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. - Experience with MOSFET device behavior and CMOS layout, including front-end device structures. - Proficiency with Calibre for supporting, enhancing, and debugging Design Rule Check (DRC) and Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) processes. - Experience with Cadence SKILL programming, Linux shell scripting, and SOS version control administration. - U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer: - Experience with ROIC architecture and design concepts. - Proficiency in SVRF scripting for modifying DRC and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) rules in Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Calibre. - Experience with distributed computing environments and managing vendor support. - Experience with digital design tools like Cadence Genus, Innovus, Tempus, or Synopsys Design Compiler, IC Compiler, or PrimeTime. - Hands-on experience with simulators such as Spectre, Ultrasim, or CustomSim, and scripting languages like Perl.
