• Implement and evolve enterprise network access controls • Manage and deploy "infrastructure as code" at scale • Contribute to the design, implementation, management, and defense of a “zero trust”, defense-in-depth network • Write good quality policies, procedures, and technical documentation • Coordinate with internal development teams and other stakeholders to ensure network security principles are "built-in" from the beginning • Work with Engineering and IT Security teams to ensure that product features are securely deployed and monitored • Monitor and maintain all physical infrastructure (network, security, and compute), cloud data center environments, remote office locations, and respond to critical network problems to maximize service uptime • Mentor and evangelize security practices through cross-functional work with internal stakeholders and teams

• Leads the technical design and implementation of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security, to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and security. • Develops and implements network policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices. • Provides technical leadership and mentorship to other network engineers. • Collaborates with other IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand their network requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs. • Develops and maintains network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. • Keeps abreast of emerging network technologies, trends, and best practices and provides proactive recommendations about future state goals and technologies. • Works with vendors and services providers to evaluate and implement new network technologies, tools, and services. • Develops disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the networking infrastructure. • Leads numerous concurrent network projects that improve upon the performance, reliability, and scalability of the network. • Works closely with infrastructure and security architects, network engineers, business analysts, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of projects and proactive maintenance of the network.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of network infrastructure by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. • Assist in monitoring and managing the network infrastructure, including routers, switches, SASE, and VPNs to ensure uptime and performance. • Assist in data center modernization, and cloud migration / adaptation activities. • Assist with IT infrastructure projects and initiatives. • Provide tier 2-3 operational support to employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues. • Performs troubleshooting as required. Leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel. • Management of all networking equipment, and other components. • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host resources. • Ensure that records of infrastructure equipment inventory are properly maintained. • Interfaces with, and contributes to overall success of other IT teams, including Service Desk Operations, Database, and Applications Development. • Creates and maintains a well-documented knowledge base.

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) tailored to Quest Software’s global needs. • Configure and install network devices such as Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, load balancers, and console servers. • Implement and manage BGP for optimal routing and path selection, ensuring efficient data transfer and network stability. • Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, QoS, and redundancy strategies for high availability. • Architect and manage Azure VNets, NSGs, Firewall, ExpressRoute, and AWS VPCs, Route Tables, Security Groups, Direct Connect. • Implement hybrid connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments using VPN gateways and private circuits. • Optimize routing and security policies for multi-cloud deployments. • Apply Zero Trust principles and enforce network access control using Cisco ISE and Azure AD. • Implement firewall rules, segmentation, and encryption across all environments. • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, GDPR) and Quest security policies. • Monitor network health using SolarWinds, FortiAnalyzer, and other advanced tools. • Troubleshoot latency or connectivity issues across global data centers and remote sites. • Optimize network performance for cloud-hosted applications and SaaS platforms. • Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for network automation and provisioning. • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all network configurations and changes. • Mentor and support junior network engineers and technicians, providing guidance and training on best practices. • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other systems and applications. • Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and industry trends to ensure Quest Software remains at the forefront of network innovation.
