The Opportunity As Senior Product Manager for Core Trading & Platform, you’ll own key parts of Moonshot’s trading experience and the internal platforms that power it. You’ll define and drive roadmaps that span the mobile app, backend services, and operational tools, similar to PMs at modern trading and investing platforms. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, BizOps, and Compliance to ship fun, impactful, reliable experiences while managing constraints around risk, security, and scale What You’ll Do - Own the end-to-end lifecycle of major product areas (for example: onboarding & KYC, trading flows, portfolio/positions, funding & withdrawals, or internal control panels). - Define and maintain a clear product strategy and roadmap, aligned with company OKRs and constraints such as regulatory and technical realities. - Lead discovery and definition: user research, problem framing, requirements gathering, and writing product specs. - Collaborate with engineers on architecture and technical designs for new features and systems. - Drive execution: align cross-functional stakeholders, manage scope, prioritize ruthlessly, and ensure on-time, high-quality launches. - Own product lifecycle management for your area: triage and prioritize bugs, operational issues, and tech debt in partnership with Engineering. - Ensure new features are instrumented and measurable from day one; partner with Growth and Analytics on KPIs and dashboards. - Participate in and sometimes lead post-incident reviews, turning incidents into product and process improvements. - Contribute to product processes and rituals as a founding PM: planning cycles, roadmap reviews, and documentation. What We Look For in You - 5–8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in fintech, trading, or adjacent financial products. - Track record owning complex, high-stakes workflows where correctness and reliability are non-negotiable (e.g., money movement, orders, identity, compliance). - Demonstrated ability to partner with senior and staff engineers on system design and technical tradeoffs. - Strong product sense and UX instincts for dense information and transactional flows. - Excellent communication skills; can drive clarity in ambiguous, cross-functional settings. - Experience working in lean, high-velocity teams or startups.
