About the role We are seeking a full-time Principal Data Engineer who can work collaboratively with a diverse team of experts to solve complex business challenges using innovative thinking and modern technology. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will: - Design and develop cutting-edge enterprise data solutions in a fast-paced environment - Lead discussions with clients and recommend technical solutions for business cases - Design and code modern solutions to tough data challenges leveraging the cloud - Lead and collaborate with sharp, passionate teammates, provide feedback on others’ work, and encourage innovation and best practices internally and externally - Prioritize, self-direct and execute at velocity - Aggressively grow your skillset and expertise to meet emerging needs What we’re looking for - Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders/clients, including active listening, critical thinking, presentation skills, coaching, empathy, dependability, and creativity. - Experience working with individuals in various industries and corporate levels including C-Levels, Engineers, Business Intelligence Analysis, Business Unit Leaders, Field workers. - Extensive Experience in cloud technologies, data and data analytics development including: - 6+ years of Cloud/Data Analytics including Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Data Services including OneLake, Azure Data Warehouse, SQL DB, SQL VMs, Purview, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, - Hands on experience on Databricks including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake - 6+ years of Visualization tools including extensive Power BI experience (having PBI to Fabric migration knowledge), Tableau, Qlik, and SSRS a plus. - Machine Learning including predictive/prescriptive analytics with R, Python - Development and Scripting including CI/CD methodology, using PowerShell, Azure DevOps services, Terraform, GitHub Actions. Job Requirements
