• Design, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot, and related security/compliance features. • Administer and harden Entra ID (Azure AD), including conditional access, identity protection, app registrations, and role‑based access control. • Own Exchange Online configuration: mail flow, transport rules, connectors, policies, hybrid connectivity (if applicable), and advanced troubleshooting of mail delivery issues. • Use Kusto Query Language (KQL) in tools such as Microsoft 365 Defender, Purview, and Log Analytics to investigate incidents, identify patterns, and develop detection queries and reports. • Collaborate with security and networking teams to implement and maintain security baselines, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, and auditing across the M365 environment. • Develop and maintain automation, scripts, and integrations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to streamline administration, reporting, and provisioning. • Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub) for Microsoft 365 configuration and related workloads. • Work with containerized and cloud workloads (e.g., Kubernetes) where they integrate with M365/Entra for identity, security, or application access. • Lead complex incident response and root‑cause analysis for M365 and identity‑related outages or security events. • Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, runbooks, and architectural diagrams for Microsoft 365 and Entra services. • Mentor junior administrators and provide guidance on best practices, governance, and operational excellence.

• Design, develop, and implement AWS cloud architecture leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB, EKS, and other AWS-native services, with a focus on scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery. • Provision and manage AWS resources, including compute, storage, networking, and databases, using the AWS Management Console, CLI, and infrastructure-as-code tools. • Develop and maintain automated deployment and provisioning of solutions using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption at rest and in transit, network segmentation, logging, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards. • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization using AWS monitoring and alerting tools; proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines to streamline application builds and deployments, leveraging GitHub Actions. • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into efficient, secure AWS-based solutions. • Manage application deployments and releases with minimal downtime, using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS).

The Senior Cloud Architect will provide subject matter expertise to a federal customer on a range of cloud service implementation, configuration, migration, delivery, and performance management activities. This individual will support the development of specific compute, storage, network, security, and other architectures and designs required for continuing adoption of cloud services. They lead the design, engineering, and optimization of complex cloud environments, developing scalable architectures, automation frameworks, and monitoring solutions that support enterprise applications and infrastructure. This role troubleshoots advanced cloud, network, and identity-related issues; implements performance and cost-optimization strategies; and ensures cloud platforms adhere to security, compliance, and operational best practices.
