Job Title: Part-Time Patient Services Representative Start Date: 03/30/2026 Workplace Type: Remote (100% Remote - must sit in the Phoenix area) Shift: - Training: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (full-time training window) - After training: 20 hours/week; Mon and/or Tue are required 8-hour days (high call volume) + additional 4-hour blocks mid-week Job Description: - Schedule, cancel, and register patient appointments while delivering exceptional, patient-first support across phone/email/fax channels. - Verify and update patient information, referrals, and authorization statuses with speed and accuracy in a high-volume environment. - Use scripts, decision trees, and scheduling criteria to route patients appropriately and communicate prep instructions clearly. Qualifications: - 1+ year experience in a healthcare environment (patient-focused). - Strong patient access/registration skills + data entry accuracy; comfortable on phones throughout the shift. - Insurance verification and/or prior authorization experience; medical terminology required. - EHR experience (Epic, Cerner, athenaCollector) preferred - Bilingual Spanish highly preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
