Position Overview We are proactively building a pipeline of experienced Delivery Managers who are passionate about data analytics and business intelligence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, leveraging your expertise to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities: Team Management - Analyzing team skills gap analysis, defining team development plan and training needs - Hiring, coaching, and mentoring of the PS Delivery team and ensuring proper work environment and culture - Coaching direct reports on customer relations, customer-facing best practices related to project delivery - Defining and refining internal Delivery Management processes, KPI, roles and responsibilities, and documentation standards and templates (kick-off meeting, RACI matrix, project status report, budget/forecast) Project Delivery - Managing creation and tracking of forecasts and budget - Assessing risks and creates strategies for risk mitigation and project contingency planning - Appropriate escalation of risks and issues with leadership - Managing projects with geographically diverse teams - Planning and managing resource capacity - Managing project scope and the change control process as appropriate. - Leading, planning, scheduling and managing project deliverables, goals, and milestones - Adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet changing needs and requirements - Facilitating the team to successfully plan and execute deliverables using Agile techniques - Overseeing and assisting BAs and end users in testing activities - Managing test result tracking, defect remediation and retesting processes - Ensuring and handling appropriate communication to project stakeholders - Providing relevant metrics to gauge team progress with a continual focus on improvement. - Collaborating with accounting manager to ensure project billing and invoicing are executed on time and accurately - Review and approve project hours to ensure they are accurately recorded with detailed documentation describing tasks and deliverables - Working cross-functionally with internal departments, for examples, Finance, Customer Enablement, IT and Marketing - Managing the process for the customer satisfaction program for services delivery - Keeps track of lessons learned during the life of the project and facilitates retrospective conversations with customer during project close out - Collaborate with the VP of Professional Services to improve existing Standard Operating Procedures - Participate in discussion with customer, sales, pre-sales team to design service offerings and create statement of works, if necessary - Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to create project plans as part of SOW creation Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in professional services with a customer facing managerial role - 3+ years of experience in managing teams in remote and distributed geographic locations - 3+ years of experience in capacity management and resource planning - Proven experience in managing technical solutions and services engagements - Strong understanding of products, practices and technology related to data analytics including data warehousing, business intelligence, data integration and data quality - Strong risk identification and management skills - Good communication and presentation skills - Strong Project Management skills - Experience in team building and management - Experience in managing competing objectives, prioritization, and escalations
