We are seeking a Financial Director, Global Controller – Gross Profit Analytics to play a critical role in driving financial performance across Epredia’s global operations. In this highly strategic position, you will lead financial oversight of manufacturing operations, deliver impactful financial and management reporting, and support global strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Partnering closely with operational and finance leaders, you will provide the insights and analysis needed to optimize gross profit performance and drive continuous improvement across the organization Location: Remote - USA What you will be doing: Manufacturing Operations Controls: - Ensure integrity of accounting processes and controls at all times. - Review current accounting and finance procedures and controls and ensure that they are sound, consistent globally and are properly followed at all times. - Confirm that all accounting and finance procedures and controls are in line with corporate guidelines and are consistent with the current regulatory environment. - Seek waivers to policy from the Chief Financial Officer when appropriate and ensure these are applied as written and reviewed/updated as needed. - Manage and track the Internal and External Audit schedule for Epredia globally. Primary point of contact with External Audit. - Provide guidance to international entities regarding accounting for transactions in accordance with IFRS and seek consultation from PHC Group accounting as needed. Financial and Management Gross Profit Reporting: - Development of global gross profit reporting mechanisms on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis - Development and tracking of site level financial key performance indicators and cost savings initiatives - Respond to specific and ad hoc requests for information from ELT, Epredia and PHC Group teams. - Assist in developing and tracking action plans to meet business objectives. - Direct and manage the Annual Operating Plan process across the manufacturing sites in conjunction with the FP&A team. Provide analytics to ELT so that informed decisions can be made. - Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts to project gross margin performance based on commercial inputs . Explain deviations to Business Plan/forecast and actions to be taken to ensure achievement of annual targets. Develop reliable forecasting processes that can be consistently utilized by all of the global entities/regions. - Develop and implement initiatives to constantly improve financial performance of the division. These initiatives can focus on sales growth, margin expansion (product mix, pricing, sourcing), cost savings, productivity improvements, training, supply chain efficiencies, restructuring and any other relevant areas of the business. Track and drive initiatives and associated results on an ongoing basis. - Determine Capital Investment strategies (fixed assets, inventory, accounts receivable, business acquisitions or start-ups, etc) and prepare financial justification and implementation plans as needed. Follow company policy to obtain necessary approvals and execute plan. - Work with site management (operations leaders, site controllers) on budget/forecasting exercises, ensure changes are continuously updated in financial projections. Skills you will need: - 7+ years of progressive relevant work experience required - Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant or equivalent background required - Excellent skills with SAP, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint are required; skills with Incorta, Data Warehousing platforms preferred. - Advanced Qualification Preferred (CPA, MBA, or MS) - Proficiency in the following areas: financial reporting, internal control, forecasting, analysis, and technical accounting knowledge. - Strong business and industry knowledge as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, draw conclusions from ambiguous data, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines. - The ability to identify and champion productivity improvements through Practical Process Improvement. - Experience of leading cross functional teams as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with customers, peers and operating partners - Ability to manage multiple assignments, has good judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively.. - Must be able to travel up to 25%, or more if business needs dictate The hiring range for this position is: $147,000 -$197,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
