Region Margin Manager

• Partner with area leadership to create margin play meeting content and act first line auxiliary support for underperforming markets • Collaborate with Pricing Excellence and lend expertise to develop plays to be executed by the field. • Act as subject matter experts working on cross functional agile teams to bring pricing perspective • Accurate and timely delivery of the daily review and communication on margin trends and action items to assigned areas • Perform various financial analysis and review of weekly scorecard data to identify potential margin issues, adherence to defined plays etc • Identify and quantify drivers of margin erosion, while leveraging the ability to look across assigned areas for trends. • Formulate and recommend strategies for addressing margin erosion or leveraging opportunities • Perform root cause analysis and partner with field stakeholders and other functional areas to drive proactive solutions through process and technology for recurring issues • Act as subject matter expert on applicable processes, plays and programs. • Assist in coaching and developing field pricing talent • Serve as back-up for the Sr Director, Region Pricing
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or in another relevant field.
- 5 years in finance management and/or financial analysis required; experience in contract administration, pricing, and category management
- Experience in a foodservice/distribution environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and experience influencing peers and senior leaders
