Senior Full Stack Engineer – Scheduling
Calendly
• Collaborate within your team to build new features that are targeted at our highest impact enterprise customers. • Contribute to platform scaling initiatives. • Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements. • Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done. • Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly. • Review implementation plans and pull requests from your peers. • Mentor and coach other team members.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience leading small teams (1-4) or mentoring other engineers.
- Professional experience with Ruby on Rails is nice to have. Experience with Node.js or a comparable web-app framework is also acceptable.
- Professional experience with TypeScript.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs.
- Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and involvement in monolith-to-services modernization or large-scale refactoring initiatives.
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end, including technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time, including delegating to other engineers and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools, with a clear understanding of generated code and the ability to defend implementation choices.
- Availability for participation in an on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours.
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
