We are seeking a full-time, fully remote Referral Scheduler to support timely appointment scheduling for injured workers. In this role, you will coordinate with injured workers, providers, and clients to secure appointments within targeted timeframes, provide clear status updates, and deliver exceptional customer service by phone and email. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service communicating via phone and email communications with providers and injured workers. - Schedule injured workers for the appointment within targeted timeframe guaranteed to our clients. - Provide timely scheduling updates to our client and other contacts on referral if applicable - Obtain additional medical notes to assist with scheduling - Work closely with interdepartmental operations staff to effectively manage referrals. - Uses experience and judgement to complete tasks with minimal supervision. - Perform additional support functions as needed. Qualifications: - Experience in a physician office, healthcare environment, or call center a plus. - Excellent customer service skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills and phone presence. - Ability to work independently. - Acute attention to detail. - Proficient in all Microsoft Office and computer application systems. - Ability to multi-task. - Ability to work in multiple systems to schedule injured worker.
