The salary range offered for the position is $ 95,000 - $125,000 per year, DOE. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Summary of the Cloud Engineer: The Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in designing, securing and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure that powers our SmartCare™ EHR platform. The person hired in this position is going to help us drive innovation in healthcare technology. This role manages cloud-based Windows Server environments, implements Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automates workflows. This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and you will interact with several different departments and levels of the organization. Your ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, document processes, and problem-solve is essential. Job Responsibilities for the Cloud Engineer: - Design and manage Cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring a robust, scalable and secure platform that enables seamless access to patient records and applications - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable, consistent and automated deployments - Automate administrative tasks, enhancing operational efficiency and providing innovative solutions - Implement security measures that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations - Create clear and thorough documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures - Work closely with IT, security, DevOps and project managers to align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals - Support process improvement using a creative, strategic, and innovative approach to data governance Job Requirements for the Cloud Engineer: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or and equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5+ years of professional experience designing and managing cloud-based Window Server environments with expertise in Azure - Advanced experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible and Kubernetes - Proficiency in automation tools like GitHub, PowerShell and Python - Deep understanding of the product management lifecycle and its impact on infrastructure - Refined communication, analytical and documentation skills – you thrive in a team-oriented environment - Intellectual curiosity - a mind that's always thinking about the best, most efficient, and cost-effective way to grow - Outcome-focused, results-oriented mindset—you see challenges as opportunities and approach work with optimism - Experience with database technologies, including Redis and SQL Server is a plus - Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes are highly desirable. You will work directly with a senior platform engineer to build and support a real production platform deployed on AWS and Kubernetes.
