• Own and operate the corporate network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, security appliances, and hybrid cloud connectivity • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable networks supporting Kepler’s corporate systems, engineering teams, and production services • Develop roadmaps and upgrade strategies for the corporate network, including lifecycle planning, technology evaluations, and vendor selection • Manage network security and segmentation, ensuring corporate infrastructure adheres to security best practices and company policies • Administer Fortinet SD-WAN infrastructure, including policy management, firmware upgrades, and performance optimization • Design and maintain hybrid cloud networking architectures, integrating on-prem environments with AWS services • Develop and maintain network automation tools, leveraging Python, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code approaches to improve reliability and operational efficiency • Collaborate closely with software, FPGA, and mission operations teams to support network infrastructure for satellite operations and ground systems • Provide operational support for corporate and service provider network infrastructure, including participation in on-call rotations • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability tools to proactively detect and resolve network issues • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks • Participate in change management processes, including planning, implementation, and post-change validation • Support incident response and root cause analysis for network-related outages or performance issues

Role Description The Network Control/Administrator plays a key role in the design, implementation, operation, support, and optimization of Fragomen’s global network infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center network systems. The incumbent will be involved in complex network initiatives, provide Tier 2 support, and collaborate across business and IT teams to align network strategy with organizational goals. This role is predominantly for a wireless network engineer to design, manage, and support the global wireless infrastructure. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). - Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level network administration or engineering. - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent relevant experience. - CompTIA Network+, Palo Alto, or equivalent certifications desirable. Estimated base salary range: $61,100 - $94,000 USD/annually. The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role.
