Senior Director – Analyst, AI Technology and Operations Evolution

• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership • Develop in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of a client’s barriers • Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing Insights positions • Bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders • Research, analyze and predict market trends • Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice • Create and deliver high value presentation materials • Provide sales support serving as voice of the market • Build credibility as an industry expert • Identify research process improvements or develop new processes • Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members • Be client-centric while helping clients engage regularly with Gartner insights

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
  • Experience in AI Risk Management, AI Agents and Agentic AI, AI Operating Models, and AI Implementation
  • Understand best practices for AI risk management
  • Experience with embedding AI governance and risk controls across business units
  • Building or collaborating with business on next generation agent architectures
  • Managing generative AI solution rollout
  • Demonstrated executive presence
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data
  • Strong communication skills
  • Subject matter expertise
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
