• Work alongside DevOps and engineering teams to ensure our platforms, repositories and CI/CD pipelines are secure by default while remaining easy to build, test, and deploy against • Identify security risks through tools, audits, and monitoring, and drive them to resolution — whether that means changing a policy, updating infrastructure, or improving a pipeline • Take ownership of the security posture across multiple AWS accounts and continuously improve it over time • Design and maintain security guardrails around IAM, logging, monitoring, and encryption • Manage repository-level security scanning (SAST, dependency scanning, secrets detection) using tools such as Aikido or similar, and ensure findings are actionable • Partner with DevOps teams to secure Kubernetes clusters, with a strong focus on Rancher • Improve security visibility through monitoring, logging, and reporting • Automate security controls and validations using Infrastructure as Code and scripting • Help document security standards, patterns, and operational runbooks

• Build the "Golden Path": You will own and evolve the build pipelines, dev setups, and development containers that allow our Stream Aligned teams to ship code independently and safely. • Institute Observability (O11y): You will own the strategy and tooling for Alerting, Monitoring, and Tracing, empowering developers to see inside their own applications. • Drive Reliability via SLOs: You will help Stream Aligned teams define and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to back their code pipelines and observability tools. • Enable, Don't Gatekeep: You will act as a consultant and mentor ("on loan" to teams when necessary) to help them tackle complex infrastructure challenges while ensuring final decision-making and ownership remains with the Stream Aligned team. • Future-Proofing: You will help explore and implement new capabilities, including our AI toolchain adoption and modernization efforts. • Incident Management: Participate in an on-call rotation with a focus on blameless post-mortems and systematically removing the root causes of fatigue.

• Create and maintain customer cloud environments for operating the Aras PLM Platform. • Work Closely with DevOps, support, and development teams. • Work with cutting-edge technology in the cloud (Azure preferred). • Implement automation to continuously reduce toil for Customer operations using CI/CD processes. • Be part of a team that introduces new technologies and deploys services to multiple cloud environments and regions. • Solve technical problems, guide various teams (internal & external), and continually improve our systems, deployments, operations, monitoring, and overall cloud activities and costs. • Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and remediation of security and privacy issues of the Managed Services offerings, including internal and external technical communication. • Set up cross-region environments using automated or manual procedures. • Respond to customer support issues related to these environments. • Maintain industry knowledge of the latest trends, technology, and practices. • Participate in on-call shifts as required.
