Role Description Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Junior Intellectual Property Associate to its Intellectual Property Litigation, Trademarks and Patent Team. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a growing team. The ideal candidate is located in North or South Carolina, but this search is open to any Nelson Mullins office location. All candidates are asked to submit the following: - Cover letter - Resume - Undergrad transcript - Law school transcript Qualifications - One to two years of meaningful experience in patent preparation and prosecution. - Willingness to assist in trademark and/or licensing matters. - Degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. - Admitted in good standing to a state Bar where Nelson Mullins has an office (preference to NC and/or SC). - Admitted to the USPTO as a registered patent attorney. Requirements - Transparent and fair compensation practices. - Pay determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location. - Eligibility for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off. - Salary/wage range: $200,000 - $215,000 annually.
