• As a TYPO3 developer (m/f/d) you will be part of a motivated and committed team working together on demanding web projects. • Implementation of complex websites based on TYPO3 • Installation and configuration of TYPO3 and standard extensions (News, Powermail, Form) • Implementation of content elements with Mask in both backend and frontend • Conducting technical analyses and creating concepts in close collaboration with the project manager and the designers • Performing TYPO3 updates and upgrades and making any necessary technical adjustments in backend and frontend; support from an extension developer is available if required • Further development and optimization of existing TYPO3 systems, e.g. technical SEO and performance optimizations • Quality assurance through code reviews and documentation

• Own frontend technical direction for a key area of Ideals Board: architecture, patterns, and long-term maintainability • Make the design system work properly in real product development: ensure consistency, improve developer experience, and close gaps between design and implementation • Lead redesigns of key product parts end-to-end (technical + UX): help shape solutions with Product Design and deliver robust implementations • Raise quality ownership across the team: testing strategy, code review culture, definition of done, and proactive refactoring where it matters • Drive technical design: write and review technical solutions, identify risks early, and align the team on implementation approaches • Be a strong hands-on contributor: deliver features, tackle complex tasks, debug production issues, and improve performance and reliability • Mentor and multiply: coach frontend engineers, share best practices, and grow overall team expertise and collaboration • Collaborate closely with Product managers, Designers, Backend, QA, and DevOps Engineers to ensure smooth delivery and a great user experience

• Lead and manage the development of interactive, high-visibility, public-facing websites from concept through launch and iteration. • Create and contribute to low- and mid-fidelity wireframes and prototypes (e.g., in Figma or similar tools) to support concept development, client reviews, and iterative design collaboration. • Implement high-quality front-end experiences using CMS and templated platforms such as WordPress, thoughtfully extending themes, templates, and content models to meet design, brand, accessibility, and usability standards. • Translate design files (e.g., Figma, Illustrator) into high-fidelity, responsive, and accessible web experiences with strong attention to detail. • Code and develop custom sites using core front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, leveraging modern frameworks and component-based approaches. • Support back-end development needs such as CMS customization, API integrations, authentication, and performance optimization using one or more back-end languages. • Ensure websites function correctly across devices and browsers; proactively identify and resolve bugs; and continuously improve site performance and load speed. • Apply and uphold accessibility best practices through testing and implementation. • Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and other internal team members to develop and execute solutions that meet client and customer needs. • Partner with client teams to review work, discuss requirements, and iteratively implement feedback throughout the development lifecycle. • Integrate SEO, analytics, and performance measurement requirements into builds. • Contribute to reusable patterns, documentation, and front-end best practices to support maintainability and scalability.
