Role Description The Sr. Systems Engineer II is a senior level role within the Global Systems Team, responsible for supporting and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across worldwide operations. This position plays a critical role in automation, system reliability, and infrastructure scalability. We are specifically seeking a candidate with strong Linux and Ansible expertise. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of Python and PowerShell, with experience in cloud platforms considered a strong advantage. This role requires someone who is technically deep, automation focused, and comfortable operating in a global enterprise environment. - Serve as a key member of the Global Systems Team, addressing strategic initiatives and supporting systems worldwide - Design, implement, and maintain Linux based systems and automation frameworks using Ansible - Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling leveraging Ansible, Python, and PowerShell - Install, configure, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including hardware, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and data protection solutions - Manage and optimize cloud based infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments - Respond to IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements - Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure standard operating procedures remain accurate and current - Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and security Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience - 5 or more years of practical professional experience in enterprise systems engineering or infrastructure roles - Strong hands on expertise with Linux in enterprise environments - Proven experience designing and implementing automation using Ansible - Working knowledge of Python and PowerShell for scripting and automation - Experience supporting enterprise server environments and data center infrastructure - Strong problem solving skills with the ability to design practical and scalable solutions - Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills - Must currently reside in Idaho or Utah.
