Corporate Contract Paralegal
NEXT|HEALTH
• Conduct legal research using appropriate resources to support compliance initiatives. • Draft, manage, and maintain legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate filings, and entity records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. • Coordinate contract execution by obtaining required approvals and signatures and ensuring timely distribution to relevant parties. • Maintain centralized databases of company and entity information, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and regulatory compliance. • Liaise with outside counsel as needed, providing relevant information and facilitating effective communication. • Assist with entity formation and governance matters, including preparation and filing of required documentation and ongoing compliance maintenance. • File legal documents with governmental agencies and other entities in accordance with procedural requirements and deadlines. • Communicate with clients under attorney supervision to collect information, provide updates, and respond to inquiries. • Stay current on legal developments, procedures, and best practices through ongoing professional development. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the legal function and broader business needs of Next Health.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or healthcare setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research methods and software.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Notion, G Suite, calendar management tools).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
