Staff Frontend Software Engineer

• Driving projects from idea to release, including scoping, technical design, implementation, and deployment. • Writing and reviewing technical specs for features that span multiple applications to ensure performance and scalability. • Contributing to our AI-assisted development environment by building skills and coordinating agents. • Solving high-complexity problems like performance bottlenecks and intricate state management challenges. • Implementing and managing observability strategies using tools like Datadog to proactively monitor and improve customer experiences and application health. • Mentoring the team through pair programming and pragmatic code reviews. • Partnering with Product and Design to ensure technical decisions align with customer needs and business goals.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
  • Proven track record of owning large-scale projects from idea to release.
  • Deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, REST, GraphQL and CI/CD Automation.
  • Experience managing complexity across multiple applications and shared systems like monorepos.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog or similar tools.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, including building custom skills and agents.
  • Strong background in test-driven development and building reliable, scalable systems.
