Salary range: 115,000-135,000/annual Responsibilities - Produce written proposals, basis of estimates, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for project managers, senior management, and clients. - Independently determine/develop crew and equipment assemblies, production rates, and schedules for heavy civil scopes of work based on industry experience. - Ability to identify and communicate project risks and incorporate mitigation strategies developed through communication with management team. - Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs. - Prepare, seek review of, and submit inquiries to clients regarding drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. - Support constructability reviews through communication with the project team, designers, and subcontractor market. - Prepare organized and accurate cost estimate back up documentation. - Develop, maintain and expand subcontractor and supplier database. Qualifications: - Must have knowledge/experience in self-performance of all civil infrastructure scopes of work including earthwork/grading, dam/levee construction and/or repair, dewatering, demolition, underground utilities (e.g., water/sewer/storm), road construction and repair, asphalt pavement, and concrete construction. - Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the heavy civil construction industry; project cost estimating and construction management experience is preferred. - Experience estimating federal projects is mandatory. - Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules. Role Description Revamp is seeking a Civil Design Engineering Intern to support utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects from a civil engineering perspective. This role focuses on land development design, grading, drainage, and site layout for renewable energy facilities.
