Every line of code you write contributes to making the world a safer place. - Solve Complex Problems: You’ll tackle unique challenges in satellite communication, mesh networking, and advanced mobile development. - Learn and Grow: Gain exposure to cutting-edge tech like satellite-powered hardware and Bluetooth connectivity while working with a passionate and talented team. - Remote Flexibility: Although we have offices in San Francisco and Chicago, this role is fully remote, giving you the freedom to work from anywhere. Qualifications - Developed on Android for 5+ years - Passionate about understanding users and building life-saving features - Eager to get their hands dirty across the stack - Excited by tough technical challenges - Capable of taking ownership and bringing an idea from conception to shipping a product Requirements - Work with Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Realm - Work with Bluetooth and USB protocols to communicate with our Node and Hotspot - Build features for our Android application and client SDKs - Collaborate with backend engineers to design and build APIs - Collaborate with firmware/electrical engineers to develop and improve our protocols - Iterate on existing and establish new engineering standards, tools, and processes - Bring new features from concept to shipped product Benefits - A competitive and equitable compensation plan.
