Role Description The Event & Program Coordinator provides project-based coordination and execution support for events and structured programs. This role helps translate campaign and program concepts into operational deliverables, supporting timelines, logistics, documentation, and follow-through on a per-project basis. This role blends event coordination, program support, and light content execution within clearly defined project scopes. What You'll Do - Event Support - Provide project-based coordination and logistical support for virtual and in-person events - Independently manage event-related workflows and deliverables using Consultant’s own tools and processes - Support event promotion and follow-up campaigns - Assist with attendee communications and reminders - Program Development - Own the build-out and management of: - Client referral programs - Partner programs - Potential Client Programs - Product launch campaigns - Create and deliver program plans, documentation, and implementation recommendations - Maintain program documentation and timeline - Track participation and performance - Content Support - Draft campaign-specific content deliverables as defined in individual project scopes - Coordinate content inputs required to complete Consultant-owned deliverables - Collaborate with: - Content Writer (copy) - Graphic Designer (visuals) - Content Optimization Specialist (distribution) Qualifications - Demonstrated experience providing project-based coordination or consulting services - Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail - Clear communicator across multiple roles - Ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver on defined scopes - Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments and delivering clear, executable outputs - Experience with events, programs, or campaigns a plus - Bonus: experience working with YC or other accelerator companies Requirements - This is a contract-based consulting engagement compensated at an hourly rate of $45–$60, depending on experience. - The Consultant will invoice for hours worked in connection with agreed-upon project scopes. - The anticipated time commitment is estimated to be up to approximately 35 hours per week depending on active project scopes; however, hours are not guaranteed and may vary. • Support upmarket push via targeted events strategy: Common Room is pushing up market and you'll be a big part of helping us show up where these buyer's make decisions by planning, coordinating, and executing events that are designed to help us reach those prospects. • Contribute materially to this year's pipeline targets: Over the past year, we've increased the velocity and quality of our events. We're looking to 2x our output from this past year through growing the number and effectiveness of our events. Your leadership will help us achieve key pipeline targets. • Event impact and measurement: You'll use tools Dreamdata, Salesforce campaigns, and Common Room (yes we use our own product) to track the performance of your programs. • Cross-team leadership: Field and marketing events are a team sport and you'll be expected to ensure that pre, during, and post event processes align with the objectives and incentives of the team. It's expected that you'll work closely with contractors (to asssist with some of the logistics), others on the Marketing team, Sales and SDR leadership, and the Executive team (in some cases) to ensure these events are successful. • Travel and event coordination: Part of this role will include traveling to many (not all) of the events to ensure that logistics are taken care of and that the whole team does what they can to ensure its success.
