Data Analyst III itD is seeking a Data Analyst III to support data analytics and engineering initiatives by managing and improving databases, testing programs, and delivering actionable insights to leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SQL and database management, with a proven track record of creating clear, accurate reports and dashboards that guide business decisions. Location: Remote – US Duration: 6 Months We provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more. Responsibilities - Test databases and programs, identify errors, and implement corrections. - Modify existing databases or direct programmers/analysts to implement changes. - Write logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers for management systems. - Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope. - Review project requests to estimate time, cost, and resources required for database implementations. - Build and maintain dashboards to monitor trends, track performance, and provide insights to leadership. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership visibility and decision-making. Internal Responsibilities - Attend regular internal practice community meetings. - Collaborate with itD practice teams on knowledge sharing and thought leadership. - Complete case studies, learning materials, and internal reports. - Contribute to the Digital Transformation practice. - Participate in internal networking events, both virtual and in-person. - Support leadership in career growth and development initiatives. Required Qualifications and Skills - Strong experience in SQL and database management. - Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights via dashboards and reports. - Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Knowledge of database management software. Preferred Qualifications and Skills - Experience with Python and AI-related analytics. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Education - Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required. Role Description Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Remote Sensing Technician to join our team. The Senior Remote Sensing Technician is responsible for post-processing aerial data to final deliverables supporting multiple markets and users. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all deliverables created from LiDAR and imagery data from both manned and unmanned aircraft, troubleshooting technical issues, and conducting quality control checks. The Senior Remote Sensing Technician will work closely with Remote Sensing Project Leads and other stakeholders to support the successful execution of projects. Qualifications - Minimum 5+ years of experience or Associate degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., geomatics, surveying, remote sensing). - Minimum 3+ years in a senior technician role. - ASPRS certifications highly desired. - Strong understanding of LiDAR and remote sensing principles and data processing. - Proficiency in using Remote Sensing software and tools, such as TerraSolid, RiProcess, MicroStation, MetaShape, Photoshop, PLS-CADD, TopoDOT. - In-depth knowledge of coordinate systems and projections. - Industry experience in power generation and delivery, DOT, and renewables. - Scripting and light programming knowledge to support automation. - Familiarity with surveying techniques and equipment for project control understanding. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
