Charter Sales Executive
Jet Linx Aviation
Summary: The Charter Sales Executive is responsible for creating a book of wholesale charter clients and growing charter revenue using the Jet Linx managed fleet of private jets. The Charter Sales Executive must be highly motivated to sell and able to work independently and effectively in a remote setting. Duties & Responsibilities: - Engage current and prospective wholesale clients to generate charter activity and forge lasting relationships. - Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with industry partners and prospective clients through outgoing marketing efforts to promote Jet Linx fleet and grow charter business. - Create business through use of NBAA Airmail and general/constant outreach. - Market the Jet Linx Super-Mid and Heavy fleet of aircraft, targeting International and Road Show opportunities. - Ensure accuracy and manage all details of charter bookings from the quoting stage through booking process, as well as invoicing and post flight follow-up. - Handle and escalate service issues appropriately, including timely follow-up. - Participate in department training, industry networking events, and client meetings as needed. - Collaborate with Fleet Optimization to maximize aircraft scheduling efficiency to meet company goals. - Assist in identifying monthly, quarterly, and annual department goals. - Research, collect, analyze, and interpret industry trends both nationally and locally to ensure the brand is being marketed and considered. - Share in the on-call rotation and designated nights/holidays as needed. - Regular and predictable attendance. - Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values and “Supply the High” in all interactions. - Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Well-rounded understanding of Jet Linx Aviation business model and projected growth - Ability to think outside of the box - Excellent negotiating and prospecting skills, as well as strong cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills - Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company and its customers - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Flight Operation System (FOS) - Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information - Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative - Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative to research and resolve problems - Ability to multi-task and complete work within assigned timelines under minimal supervision - Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed - Operate office equipment as needed - Education and Work Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - Four or more years of related charter sales in the aviation industry - Experience in selling revenue hours on super-mid & heavy size aircraft, as well as international trip profiles is preferred - Or equivalent combination of education and experience - Physical Requirements: - Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions - Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis Documentation Requirements: - Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license - Proof of eligibility to work in the US Compensation: Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members. Starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $55,000-77,000. Actual base salary provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with 6% company match, paid time off and company paid life and short-term disability coverage.
