Role Description We are seeking a Commissioning Agent to join our Engineering group. This role is ideal for an experienced commissioning professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work, collaborating across disciplines, and solving complex building performance challenges from design through construction and closeout. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work independently or remotely from our offices in Portland, ME or Andover, MA, depending on experience and location. What You’ll Do - Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, and related documentation in alignment with firm standards and project goals. - Interpret commissioning scopes, drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate execution of services. - Plan, witness, direct, and document field commissioning activities, including construction observations, pre-functional verification, system start-up, functional performance testing, and closeout. - Review and interpret Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) data to evaluate system performance and identify deficiencies. - Identify potential risks, coordination challenges, or scheduling conflicts and proactively communicate solutions to project teams and clients. - Lead on-site commissioning meetings, document discussions, and track action items through resolution. - Author clear, well-organized commissioning reports and closeout deliverables. - Manage assigned work within budgeted hours while adapting to construction schedules and field conditions. - Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and specialty disciplines to support integrated project delivery. - Provide technical input for proposals, presentations, interviews, and client-facing discussions as requested. - Support knowledge sharing and team development by mentoring less-experienced staff when appropriate. Qualifications - Associates Degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or related Engineering or Engineering Technology program from an NAAB certified institution OR Minimum of 4 years of experience in commissioning or closely related building systems work. - Hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems and building systems, including controls, energy management systems, power, lighting, fire protection, and associated software and protocols. - Understanding of commissioning, re-commissioning, and retro-commissioning processes. - Working knowledge of construction practices, drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. - Willingness to travel to project sites and adjust work hours as needed to support construction schedules. Nice to Have - Commissioning certification such as BCA, NEBB, or ACG. - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Building management or a related field. - OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain). - Building management controls experience a big plus. • Train and assist customers (internal and external) with proper installation practices, including the use of all related products and services • Provide Project and Implementation Management Services for Mid-Market and Enterprise level Customer Implementations • Provide Train-the-Trainer Services • Provide Installation Services as required • Provide Technical Expertise for the Installation of 12v Netradyne Safety systems • Promote Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures for vehicle specific installation services • Provide oversight for 3rd Party Installation Service Providers during assigned projects • Provide professional project management and sales support for assigned projects • Maintain professional customer service, frequent contact, and follow-up throughout the implementation • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and online support content related to vehicle-specific installation processes and procedures • Track and escalate all installation-related blockers to facilitate issue resolution

• Architect, build, and optimize data solutions that support Thermo Fisher Scientific’s digital transformation strategy. • Build connections and workflows within cloud-based systems. • Engineer robust data solutions to integrate enterprise data sources, including ERP, CRM, laboratory, and manufacturing systems. • Develop reusable frameworks and templates to accelerate data delivery and ensure consistency across domains. • Implement and maintain high-performance data connections across Databricks, Snowflake, and Iceberg environments. • Author and optimize complex SQL queries, transformations, and data models for analytics and reporting use cases. • Support data Lakehouse and data mesh initiatives to enable seamless access to trusted data across the organization. • Apply data governance, lineage, and security controls using Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and related technologies. • Partner with compliance and cybersecurity teams to uphold data privacy, GxP, and regulatory standards. • Establish monitoring, auditing, and optimization processes for ongoing data quality assurance. • Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business partners to build and implement end-to-end data solutions. • Serve as a technical mentor and leader within the CRG data engineering community.
