Role Description We're looking for a sharp, high-agency HR Generalist to join Invoca's People Team. This role is ideal for someone a few years into their HR career who is ready to take full ownership of some programs — and be a trusted, roll-up-your-sleeves partner on others. You'll own things like new hire onboarding, immigration coordination, and our employee survey program end to end, while also playing a key support role on higher-stakes, company-wide initiatives like benefits open enrollment, performance cycles, and compensation programs alongside our HRBPs and Sr. Manager of People Operations. What You'll Do - Onboarding & Offboarding - Own the end-to-end new hire onboarding experience, ensuring every new hire feels welcome and is set up for success. - Hold managers accountable for having a documented onboarding plan or 30/60/90 day plan in place for every new hire. - Conduct exit interviews and leverage exit data themes and trends to make actionable recommendations. - Manage employment verifications, unemployment claim responses, and/or documentation gathering for legal situations. - Immigration - Coordinate immigration cases for sponsored employees, including H-1B transfers, extensions, and other visa processes. - Employee Experience - Plan and execute departmental onsites and smaller team gatherings. - Set up and manage event travel budgets in Navan. - Track employee enrollment in training programs and monitor L&D budget spend. - HR Support - Own the employee survey program including design, delivery, data analysis, and partnering with HRBPs. - Serve as a first point of contact for day-to-day employee questions, issues, or concerns. - Support company-wide performance management processes. - Help maintain and update compensation and equity bands in relevant systems. - People Operations Coverage - Support Sr. Manager of People Operations and HRBPs to execute Annual Benefits Open Enrollment. - Support leave of absence administration and workers' comp reporting. - Assist with HR compliance tasks including required training tracking and labor law postings. - Provide backup support and coverage for HRIS (Paylocity) changes. - Provide backup support and coverage for international payroll and onboarding for global employees. - Recruiting Support - Coordinate interview scheduling across candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers. - Serve as a point of contact for candidates during the scheduling process. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related role within a technology company. - BA/BS degree or greater. - Exposure to onboarding/offboarding workflows, HRIS, performance management, and HR compliance concepts. - Familiarity with HRIS platforms; hands-on experience with Paylocity is a strong plus. - Experience with event planning or travel coordination a plus; familiarity with Navan is a bonus. - Proven ability to leverage data analysis and trends to make actionable recommendations. - Discretion and maturity when handling confidential employee information. Job Requirements
