Role Description This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative, international environment. - Works closely with Regional Sales, Product Managers, and Training Coordinator to ensure all service requests are obtained and properly completed. - Performs GF processor calibrations, and minor repairs on-site. - Inspects GF tools on-site to verify they are still functioning as intended. - Schedules, delivers and tracks contractor, distributor and end user training sessions consistent with established Georg Fischer Piping Systems protocols ensuring all participants are tested and credentialed. - Prepares monthly reports outlining the completed training sessions and works with Training Administrator to organize and maintain logs of personnel trained. - Maintains and enhances customer relationships as established by Regional Sales Managers and other GF Personnel. - Proactively seeks additional sales opportunities while on the job site. - Works with Product Managers to optimize training programs. - Monitors competitive activity and report findings to RSD and affected Product Manager. - Recommends product enhancements or changes based upon market feedback and increase sales potential. - Coordinates activities with Sales Channel representatives (agents, systems integrators, etc). - Works closely with associates on the sales team covering the site where training will be conducted. - Completes work accurately and on time; manages travel in a cost-effective manner. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in skilled trades, or training associated with the installation of plastic piping systems (Solvent welding, and fusion jointing). - Team leadership or management experience a plus. - Professional presentation skills in varied settings (classroom, construction trailer, hands-on). - Proficient verbal and written communication skills required; multiple languages a plus. - Proficient personal computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office a plus. - In-depth knowledge of Company products and services offered, preferred. Requirements - Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles. - Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. - Acts as Company representative at other company locations, or at other companies. - Presents a professional appearance as well as presents a professional attitude with customers, distributors, vendors and other company personnel. - Presents professional communication skills – verbal, written, e-mails. - Passing of Company post-employment physical as well as controlled substance testing and background and security checks, as required. Job Description Responsibilities - Learn to complete on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance, FMIs and/or ISIs. - Work with and learn from experienced field engineers on Installations, PM's, basic troubleshooting and service repair needs on designated equipment. - Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues. - Learn to effectively communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. - Partner with the customer and recommend value-added services that will help the customer run their business more efficiently. - Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times. - Utilize the GEHC escalation process, as needed, and work closely with region and national support to define and implement corrective action plans to resolve customer issues in a timely manner. - Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts. - Effectively engage commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals, and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs. - Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business. - Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends. - Answer service calls independently without assistance within one year of employment. Qualifications - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment. - Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products. - The successful applicant must comply with GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.
