The opportunity As Kin continues to grow our Agency division, we are looking for a licensed Insurance Sales Representative to support our Independent Brokerage channel. In this role, you will help drive business growth by connecting with prospective customers and recommending insurance solutions through multiple A-rated carriers. You’ll provide expert consultation on homeowners coverage as well as complementary policies such as auto, umbrella, and flood insurance. With qualified leads provided by our Marketing team, your focus will be on understanding customers’ needs, building customized quotes, and guiding them through the process of selecting the best policies to protect their homes, vehicles, and assets. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding Kin’s brokerage presence while delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving strong sales results. Shift & Training Requirements Must be available Monday–Friday. - Mandatory paid training for the first 2+ weeks: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST - Post-training schedules will be assigned based on business needs and will fall within our operating hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST - All shifts are 8 hours plus a 30-minute lunch break - No weekend shifts required We are currently hiring for our May 11, 2026 training class. Your responsibilities - Connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand their insurance needs and recommend tailored coverage solutions - Clearly communicate the features and benefits of products from multiple insurance carriers, answering customer questions with confidence - Work primarily with company-provided qualified leads to maximize sales opportunities and conversion rates - Consistently follow up with prospects via phone, email, and text to move them through the sales funnel Meet or exceed sales goals by applying effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with customers - Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriters and customer service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools - Build customized policies for customers using internal quoting tools and systems - Educate homeowners on insurance coverage options to ensure they fully understand their protection - Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively position Kin’s Agency solutions What you’ll bring - 1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage environment - Experience selling with multiple carriers across multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry, etc.) - Active Property & Casualty license - Strong understanding of insurance products and policy processes - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly - Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a natural ability to close deals - Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools - Call or contact center experience (brokerage experience preferred) Bonus qualifications: - Bilingual ability (Spanish preferred) - Experience with Citizens Property Insurance How we hire We believe a great hiring experience should be clear, respectful, and human.
