Role Description The Senior Manager of Business Development will help identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships that expand access to Midi’s care model and accelerate national growth. This individual will support end-to-end partnership development—from building out business cases, to sourcing opportunities and building executive relationships. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments. This role reports directly to the SVP of Commercial & Healthcare Partnerships. - Build out business cases, value propositions, and pitch decks for emerging partnership categories - Identify and pursue high-value partnership opportunities - Support the full business development lifecycle: outreach, relationship building, opportunity development, deal structuring, negotiation, and contracting - Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across partner organizations - Develop partnership strategies that expand patient access, distribution channels, and commercial opportunities - Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, product, marketing, operations, and finance leaders to drive ideal deal terms for business - Track and manage partnership pipeline, performance metrics, and growth opportunities - Represent Midi externally at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings - Contribute to helping us hit our revenue goals by acquisition of new patients - Contribute to team culture and operational improvements by leveraging AI solutions to scale impact Qualifications - 4–6+ years in consulting, banking, strategic partnerships or healthcare strategy - Understanding of digital health and healthcare ecosystem - Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate partnership economics and strategic fit - Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders - Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, high-ambiguity environment - Curiosity and drive Requirements - The compensation range for this role is $130,000-150,000 annually. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Outbound dialing sales prospects to generate interest in SelectQuote's products – upwards of 800 calls daily - Intense focus on handling and overcoming sales objections and stalls in order to transfer potential customers to a licensed insurance agent - Meet and exceed specified monthly goals for transfer rates and contact to transfer to increase sales agent conversion. - Paid training - We will give you all the tools you need for success. - Great earning potential – Base plus bonus with an average first-year earnings of $50k, with top producers making $80k+ - Sales Training Program after 6 months of success to move into a licensed sales agent role – we will help you get licensed!
