The Operations Program Coordinator serves as a strategic advisor and operational partner, ensuring alignment between the COO’s priorities and organizational execution. This role combines project leadership with analytical expertise to ensure successful execution of initiatives, improves operational efficiency, scalability, and organizational performance to drive long term strategy. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Key Responsibilities - Strategic Planning & Execution - Partner with the COO to define and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives. - Track progress on strategic initiatives and ensure timely delivery of key milestones. - Assist the COO in evaluating business processes and recommending improvements. - Support strategic planning efforts, including modeling and forecasting. - Operational Oversight - Provide guidance and oversight for projects within Service Operations, Production Management, Medical Management, and Service Excellence. - Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve scalability and efficiency. - Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. - Executive Communication/Reporting - Draft and manage internal and external communications on behalf of the COO. - Prepare presentations, reports, and updates for executive leadership and board meetings. - Track KPIs and provide actionable insights to the COO. - Meeting & Event Management - Coordinate leadership summits, operating committee meetings, and strategic reviews. - Develop agendas, manage materials, and ensure accurate follow-up on action items. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Act as liaison between the COO and senior leadership teams to ensure alignment and accountability. - Foster collaboration across departments to achieve organizational goals. - Facilitate communication between the COO and project teams. - Special Projects - Lead or support high-priority projects that enhance operational performance and organizational growth. - Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables; monitor progress and mitigate risks. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or operations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in project management tools and data visualization platforms. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Experience in healthcare or corporate operations is a plus. Role Description The Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance (BOGA) is a first-mover alliance of governments and stakeholders that are working toward a global, managed, and just phase-out of oil and gas production. BOGA was launched at COP 26 in Glasgow as the first government-led alliance committed to phasing out oil and gas production. Its core members have committed to ending new licensing rounds for oil and gas and to Paris-aligned end dates for production. Since its launch, BOGA has played a central role in raising global ambition on the phase-out of oil and gas, and establishing partnerships and platforms that support governments in taking their first steps toward a just transition. Looking ahead, the Alliance will continue translating the global commitment to transitioning away from fossil fuels into action, coordinating the most ambitious governments and developing credible pathways and finance for just transitions. The Manager/Senior Manager will work closely with the Head of Secretariat, existing Fund Manager, Fund counterparts, and the Secretariat team to: - Manage regular Steering Committee Meetings and the materials for them. - Support governments in developing and submitting proposals to the Fund. - Coordinate the development and delivery of in-country work programs. - Design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems. - Support the development of integrated knowledge products and capacity building. - Support communications around the Fund and the wider finance for the phase-out agenda ahead of COP31.
