We are currently looking for a “Super Sitter” to join our team of pet-loving individuals. This position entails staying in a client’s home with their pup(s) or cat(s) while they are away on vacation or work trips! We are looking for someone with a remote work job that allows them to work from anywhere. E.g., software developer, graphic designer, textbook editor, etc. If your position requires you to participate in virtual meetings, you must have flexibility to schedule those meetings at your discretion. If this describes you and your current role, then our Super Sitter position will allow you to earn additional W-2 income while maintaining your regular nine-to-five job. Qualifications of our ideal “Super Sitter” at Green Paws Chicago: - Excellent pet handling skills and pet intuition. You must be comfortable working with dogs of varying sizes and breeds. Prior experience with dogs and/or cats is preferred, including your own pets, volunteering at shelters, pet sitting, grooming, or training (veterinary techs, groomers, trainers) - Dependability and trustworthiness, strong time management skills - Excellent customer service and communication skills, able to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times - Comfortable and adept at getting around the city safely - Strong sense of direction and ability to navigate Chicago effectively - Able to work through all seasons and weather that Chicago has to offer!
