Role Description This is a sales role responsible for optimizing the ESCO brand’s competitive position within the region by developing strong customer alliances and highly effective distribution channels. - Responsible for sales activities to achieve or surpass sales growth targets. - Develop new accounts and build strong customer relationships. - Establish the ESCO brand as a “value added” leader in the market place. - Call on assigned accounts and search out new business to sell products in the ESCO pipeline through regular on-site visits. - Provide ongoing, profitable sales growth consistent with current forecasts by establishing and maintaining external customer relationships. - Demonstrate knowledge of the application and operation of ESCO products. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required. - Three or more years of sales, commercial or market growth experience required. - Strong computer skills, utilizing an ERP system, CRM and Microsoft Office products. - Must have an insurable driving record. - Must be willing and able to travel (65-75%) and stay overnight. Requirements - Sell by direct contact to established accounts and to new customers; primary solicitation role is face-to-face personal contact; expectation is 80% of time is field time with customers. - Evaluate distribution alternatives to expand business; upgrade current distribution as needed and develop new customers. - Train dealers, agents and customers on the value, use and maintenance of ESCO products. - Responsible for negotiable situations; report facts in detail and make recommendations for course of action. - Leverages Salesforce to manage accounts & opportunities on a daily basis.
