The right candidate will be equally comfortable troubleshooting a Salesforce integration and presenting a dashboard analysis to senior leadership. NKF’s Field Strategy & Operations team is in a period of intentional transformation, concentrating expertise to drive measurable impact across five priorities: - Growing major and planned giving - Aligning operations with industry performance standards - Enhancing donor stewardship - Transforming Kidney Walk into an industry-leading event - Advancing data-driven decision-making Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years of experience in nonprofit development operations, fundraising systems, or revenue operations - Advanced Salesforce proficiency (NPSP experience strongly preferred), including report/dashboard design and data management - Demonstrated experience with peer-to-peer fundraising platforms (Rallybound, Classy/GoFundMe Pro, or comparable) - Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences - Project management experience with a track record of managing multiple concurrent initiatives across distributed teams - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Requirements - Own day-to-day administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of Rallybound, Classy/GoFundMe Pro, and Salesforce NPSP as they relate to field fundraising campaigns - Serve as the primary technical liaison between field staff and national leadership for all platform issues, ensuring sub-24-hour response times on critical support requests - Lead platform onboarding for new field staff, developing standardized training materials that reduce time-to-competency - Partner with Data Services and Finance to ensure accurate data capture, allocation, and financial reconciliation across all fundraising platforms - Proactively identify platform enhancements that reduce manual effort, improve donor experience, or increase conversion rates - Design, build, and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports that give field staff and leadership real-time visibility into fundraising performance, donor trends, and pipeline health - Translate raw data into strategic narratives: produce monthly performance summaries with clear recommendations for the Senior Director and VP - Conduct portfolio analysis, wealth screening, and prospect research to support the major gifts pipeline and inform field cultivation strategies - Lead data quality initiatives including regular audits, deduplication, and standardization of donor records - Benchmark NKF’s digital fundraising metrics against industry standards and recommend evidence-based improvements - Manage the operational cadence of the Field Strategy & Operations team: coordinate project timelines, track deliverables, and drive accountability across initiatives - Coordinate bi-monthly All-Development Staff Calls, including agenda development, materials preparation, and follow-up action tracking - Identify and implement process improvements that eliminate bottlenecks, reduce duplication, and improve speed-to-execution across markets - Develop and maintain a shared project management framework (templates, calendars, documentation standards) for the team - Serve as a responsive partner to field staff on operational questions, Salesforce support cases, and donor inquiry resolution - Develop toolkits, quick-reference guides, and self-service resources that reduce dependency on national team for routine operational tasks - Support donor stewardship operations including acknowledgment workflows, communication tracking, and giving society administration - Monitor and resolve external support cases (Kidney Walk, DIY Fundraising, general donor inquiries) through Salesforce case management Benefits - 90 Days: Complete platform audit of Rallybound, Classy, and Salesforce integrations; deliver gap analysis with prioritized recommendations - 6 Months: Launch standardized reporting dashboard adopted by 80%+ of field staff; reduce average platform support resolution time by 25% - 12 Months: Deliver annual fundraising operations review with benchmarking data; implement at least two process improvements with measurable efficiency gains Company Description Fueled by passion and urgency, the National Kidney Foundation is a lifeline for all people affected by kidney disease.
