Role Description Concept Plus is seeking a Senior Oracle Admin to assist in coordinating the delivery of client capabilities alongside internally maintained services, ensuring both accessibility and usability. - Responsible for building and integration of multiple Oracle Fusion Middleware services in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Assist in defining requirements, designing, building, troubleshooting, and testing efforts. - Thorough understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware products and architecture, especially Oracle identity management and its integration with Oracle EBS. - Installation, maintenance, securing, performance tuning Oracle identity suite. - Provide support for other middleware products (SOA, WLS, OEM, …). - Experience with administration of RAC databases and OCI environment is a plus. - Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. - Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. - Confer with others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. - Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. - The Senior Database Administrator administers organization's databases, using database management systems to organize and store data. - The Senior Database Administrator ascertains user requirements, creates computer databases, and tests and coordinates changes. - This individual interacts with development and end-user personnel to determine application data access requirements, transaction rates, volume analysis, and other pertinent data required to develop and maintain integrated databases. - Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member. - Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills. • Ensure Database availability. • Administer Oracle Databases on different operating systems including but not limited to: RHEL and Windows. • Install and configure Oracle Server 12c/19c/21c RAC on multi node systems. • Configure and maintain Oracle Cloud Control. • Upgrade Oracle database. • Create a reliable backup strategy. • Apply Oracle patches that involve security patches / bug fixes in non-production and production environments. • Implement Security measures include SSL and encryption. • Develop and support database maintenance scripts. • Develop and maintain database design and support documentation. • Configure Active Data guard and automatic failover using Data guard Broker. • Configure container and pluggable databases. • Provide 24x7 on-call support.
