Role Description GLOBALIZATION TERMINOLOGIST INTERN Location: Remote, US The Diagnostics Globalization team at Zoetis is seeking an intern to help expand our Terminology Program. The intern will work with our terminology owner to identify, translate, and validate key terminology from diverse stakeholder assets. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a mini terminology initiative (under guidance), managing full-cycle projects to standardize terms across the organization and make a tangible impact on our global communications. Alongside hands-on project experience, you’ll build your professional network through virtual collaboration with other interns and learn best-in-class practices in a leading international business environment. Internship Job Duties: - Project Overview: Working alongside the Globalization team to expand terminology management for regulatory compliance. - Tasks: - Mine and identify key terminology from assets provided by stakeholders and manage the translation and internal validation cycle. - Leverage TMS functionality to manage terminology and activate automated QA within the tool. - Prepare training material/demo for vendor/linguists as needed. - Final Deliverable: validated terms & metadata added in Terminology Management System. - Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (product, marketing, regulatory, medical, etc) to manage terminology projects and ensure overall success. - If time allows, perform other duties as assigned (i.e. creation of localization style guides and linguist guidelines per content type, plug terminology into AI). Qualifications - Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program; minimum GPA 3.0 is preferred. - Translation, Localization, English, Communications, or Technical Writing majors encouraged to apply. - Experienced with Translation Management Systems (e.g., Phrase TMS, XTM, MemoQ) and highly organized with keen attention to detail. - Experience with Terminology Management Systems (e.g., Quickterm, SDL MultiTerm) a huge plus. - High attention to detail with proven skills of being structure-driven. - Knowledge of creating AI assistants and/or prompt engineering a plus. - Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; effectively collaborates and interacts at all organizational levels with a team-oriented mindset. - Permanent employment authorization/U.S. citizenship. Role Description ALTA Language Services seeks a talented individual to join our Testing Department as a contractor to review test content in Western Armenian. The linguist will be expected to deliver accurate, high-quality documentation within a specific deadline and timeline. Training regarding the specifics of the development will be provided. For the right candidate, there is an additional opportunity to work with our Testing Operations team to score tests on a regular basis. Responsibilities - Review and revise speaking and listening test content in Western Armenian, as per development specifications provided by ALTA Project Managers. - Report to Project Managers about the progress of the work.
