Forward Deployed Engineer
Bitwave
• Work directly with clients to understand their specific problems and needs and translate customer needs into product features, prototypes, and integrations. • Actively build, configure, and deploy solutions, which can include writing code and optimizing models that address customers’ needs. • Act as a liaison between the customer's point of contact and the company's core engineering team, translating business challenges into technical solutions and providing feedback to influence the product roadmap. • Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, and Lead the incubation of new products, from ideation to deployment to include working closely with product managers and engineers to bring innovative ideas to life and ensure successful product launches. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for real-world problems by rapid prototyping and iterative development to validate and refine solutions. • Manage the scope of work and sequence of delivery, balancing the needs between scope, speed, and quality, while simultaneously removing blockers. • Provide insight into building and adjusting the technical roadmap and architectural decisions as we grow. • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from end-users to senior management, and maintain a high level of trust through open communication and transparency in all interactions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Preference for an individual with experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 3+ years’ experience programming
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers and build successful relationships
- Experience in JavaScript, SQL, Python, Web3, dapps is a plus
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Expertise in ETL tools, data extraction, storage and transformation
- Strong experience working in Agile environment and understanding of SCRUM process, CI / CD, GCP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in digital assets, decentralized finance, and cryptocurrencies
