Role Description Easterseals MORC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This position will be responsible for providing financial insights, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making processes and ensure the financial health of the organization. As a key member of the finance team, the Financial Analyst will work closely with department leaders and senior management to manage financial performance, assess business trends, and contribute to the strategic goals of Easterseals MORC. This position may be done remotely but requires the incumbent to reside in the state of Michigan and may require some travel to our Auburn Hills or Clinton Twp office. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Monitor financial performance by comparing actual results to budgeted targets and forecasts. - Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve organizational efficiency and profitability. - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. - Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with department heads to review financial outcomes and performance trends. - Analyze costs related to operations, programs, and services. - Provide actionable insights to management regarding cost control and cost-effectiveness measures. - Verifying cost allocations according to company procedures. - Evaluating borrowing structures to ensure competitive funding costs. - Contribute financial data and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making. - Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to senior leadership as required. - Participate in special projects, financial modeling, and data-driven initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field. - Non-profit financial experience, especially in healthcare or CMH is a plus. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and best practices. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.

Role Description This is a fully remote, on-demand role where you’ll play a vital part in supporting Adult Social Care services during periods of increased demand or staffing pressure. You’ll help ensure that financial assessments are completed accurately, fairly, and in line with the Care Act, enabling individuals to receive the support and benefits they’re entitled to.
