Role Description OneStream is seeking motivated candidates for its 2026 internship program. Interns will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with professionals, and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced environment. Our internship is intended for rising seniors and graduate students enrolled in a degree-seeking program, with graduation expected after the internship program concludes. If you're eager to learn and ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for a Product Design Intern to join our growing User Experience team and learn about and participate in a variety of design tasks as well as some research tasks. This is an opportunity to get exposed to different styles and modes of design, learn a lot, and make an impact. You should love collaborating and be able to get passionate about improving the daily workflows and overall experience of Finance users working within enterprise software. - Practice developing user-centered wireframes, user flows, interaction design, visual design mock-ups, and prototypes, improving any gaps in skills or knowledge on the job. - Partner with our research practice to learn more about our users’ needs and learn to test & iterate on the design concepts you’ve created. - Learn to collaborate with Engineering and Product to solve business and customer needs, and to co-create solutions to address those needs. - Watch your mentor(s) bring project stakeholders along in their design process, gaining buy-in on designs as they go (no grand unveiling), and get to try some of that yourself. - Effectively present product design mockups to project stakeholders to align everyone on a design direction. - Contribute to our developing design system. Qualifications - In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or graduate-level degree. - At least two years of post-secondary education (beyond high school). - Student portfolio or equivalent design samples required. - Familiarity with an industry-standard design tool such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, etc. - Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and logically. - Work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with the UX team. - Must be willing to work on Eastern time. Requirements - Junior and graduate-level students preferred (graduating between December 2026 and May 2027). - Previous internship experience is nice to have but not necessarily required. - Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Master’s or PhD-level program in design, user experience, human factors, human-computer interaction, or related field. - Exposure to data-heavy applications. - Familiarity with design-thinking methodologies and usability testing practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to think creatively and propose multiple solutions to a problem. - Good logical thinking and the potential to have an empathetic understanding of finance users who work with large data sets. - Good communication skills, ability and willingness to develop communication and persuasion through presentation of designs; you will be learning this as you go. - Eagerness to learn presentation skills, including the ability to communicate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. - Flexibility to work with evolving design systems and enterprise software constraints. Travel - This role requires limited travel.
