Role Description IHI is seeking a Business Process Engineer/ Business Analyst to join our team. - Partner with business owners, end users, and technical teams to understand how they work today and what they need tomorrow. - Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements for government supply chain software solutions. - Turn ideas and requirements into clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria. - Analyze current processes, identify gaps or bottlenecks, and recommend practical improvements or automation. - Work closely with developers, testers, and product owners throughout the Agile lifecycle (backlog, sprints, demos, UAT). - Help create and maintain easy-to-follow documentation, diagrams, and user guides. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Engineer, or similar role. - Strong, hands-on experience using Jira for user stories, requirements, and issue tracking. - Comfortable talking with both business and technical stakeholders and translating between the two. - Solid skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and clear written documentation. - Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a team environment. - Experience with government, defense, or public-sector supply chain or logistics systems. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and tools like Confluence, Visio, and Mural. - Eligibility for or ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. - Preferred: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other professional certifications. - Preferred: 10+ years experience in business analysis or process re-engineering. - Master's degree in information technology, business or relevant field. • Act as liaison between clients and delivery teams • Lead Scrum ceremonies and Agile execution • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements • Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria • Manage and groom backlogs in Jira and Confluence • Track sprints, risks, dependencies, and resolve blockers • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams • Present progress, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders • Drive process and workflow improvements

• Elicitation, analysis and documentation of business requirements • Maintenance of the application landscape and support for digitization and standardization of processes • Analyze existing business processes, identify improvement potential and continuously optimize solutions • Support solution design and evaluate technical options • Participate in IT projects as the central point of contact for requirements management • Support implementations, testing, acceptance, rollouts and assist business units with the introduction of new applications • Execute or coordinate system and user acceptance testing, prepare training materials and deliver training sessions • Handle requests and incident reports in the ticketing system

• Serve as a hybrid Senior Business Analyst and Agile delivery partner, supporting the Data Services team operating in a Kanban-based agile environment • Own and actively manage the team backlog, including intake, refinement, prioritization, and readiness of work items • Facilitate agile practices as needed (e.g., stand-ups, backlog refinement, planning, retrospectives), adapting approach based on team needs rather than rigid frameworks • Help keep developers focused and unblocked by clarifying requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories, functional requirements, and supporting documentation • Proactively identify gaps, risks, and process improvements, and step into project coordination or delivery roles when needed • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption, and develop business cases to support these initiatives • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment of priority and drive adoption of changes • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in relevant technologies and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization • Work with the ePMO and all cross functional teams across Aprio to drive continuous improvement • Work with all levels of the organization to introduce, design, and implement changes in business processes and application practices • Apply system analysis techniques and procedures including interviewing various resources to gather required information, analyzing and documenting requirements • Be a trusted application advisor for development initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice
